Set on the slopes of the Esperanca mountains just over 1 kilometre from Belmonte town with a stunning landscape with views over the Cova da Beira region and the Estrela mountain range.
This property was built on the ruins of a former convent. Before the monastery this was the site of a hermitage founded in the thirteenth century. This has preserved the monastery heritage intact. The chapel and sacristy have been transformed into lounge and bar. The result is a harmonious blend of historical architecture and modern construction and comfort.
LobbyThe entrance to the Pousada has been decorated and furnished to an apartan style but always up to a high standard and elegance. Beige, terracota and brown colours have been used.
