The Pousada has been in the castle of the medieval village of �bidos since 1951 and started its exploration of the heritage, classified in part, by the Pousadas of Portugal. This castle is referred to as one of the 7 wonders of Portugal, and is at this moment awaiting the UNESCO classification of World Heritage.
