Here visitors will find a great selection of shops, both tradional and modern, as well as local restaurants, tapas bars, cafes and bars. Because of its elevated site, the hotel enjoys magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Orotava Valley. The Playa Martianes is just 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, while the Loro Parque Zoo, always a great family favourite, is only 3 kilometres away. Originally a 19th century country house, the Miramar is set amid lush, tropical gardens, adding to its tranquil, relaxing atmosphere. For guests wishing to explore the sights of Puerto de la Cruz, there is a complimentary bus service into the centre (this does not operate on Saturdays and Sundays). Guests can enjoy a lazy day sun-bathing on the terraces around the pool, which is heated in winter, or chill out under the shady palm trees in the beautiful gardens. After a day s sightseeing or shopping, relax in the sauna and jacuzzi. All the family will enjoy an afternoon of mini-golf or a competitive game of volleyball or table-tennis. The playground will keep younger guests amused for hours.
