Serena Beach Resort and Spa, Mombasa

Set amongst 20 acres tropical gardens the hotel is a series of white washed buildings with beautiful arches at the resort's entrances and windows. Typical of the Arabic buildings in East Africa this is one of the east coast's most beautiful resorts.

The lobby is long and thin with a high ceiling and white washed walls making it very cool and airy. The reception area has a clay tiled floor and the check-in desk is to the left as you enter. Cool drinks are offered to guests on check in.
