The HM ALFARO is a Tourist hotel. Located in ALFARO area. Shopping is accessible by bus/taxi and the nightlife/restaurants are easily accessible by taxi or bus from the hotel.

Opened last April 19, 2010, the HM Alfaro hotel opens its doors with the experience of three generations dedicated to tourism in La Rioja, a direct and family and fine dining. The new building occupies the site of the old hostel Modern, open from early twentieth century by Theodore Moreno. Today, their grandchildren are Vicente, Ramon Moreno and Pilar Aznar who take over the hotel. The transformation has involved the demolition of the hostel and construction of new building located in downtown La Rioja, just 100 meters from the Plaza of Spain. In addition, we have a modern and innovative hotel, equipped with a geothermal system that allows, through the use of renewable energy, climate and water have generated heat. It has a decoration that combines modernity and simplicity and emphasizing the presence of famous literary quotations on the walls of the reception, corridors, staircases and rooms.
