The Hotel Fornos is an excellent choice for people who prefer location over luxurious frills. The hotel may be simple, but it is right on the Rambla, close to Plaça Reial. This means that guests are always in the centre of city life, surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and cultural attractions. The only drawback is a certain lack of tranquillity, especially when the nightlife on the square goes a little over the top or the Barça team wins a match and fans literally inundate the area.
